When I decided to seek the office of Town Supervisor, the
law requires that I must first resign my position as Town Justice. This was personally and professionally a
difficult decision; however, the rules of Judicial Ethics preclude a seated Town
Justice from seeking another elected position.
Upon my resignation and thereafter my announcement to run, I was
overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from family, friends, and the great people
of the Town of Halfmoon. Your support,
words of encouragement, and kindness is greatly appreciated and truly humbling.
I have chosen to run for Town Supervisor because I believe in
Halfmoon’s future. I believe we can
achieve greater and better things for our Town. Every person, regardless of age, gender or
political affiliation, has a “stake” in the future of Halfmoon. As a team
working together, we can make positive changes and improvements to Halfmoon
that will make a difference in our Town’s identity, character, and future.
As your Town Supervisor, I pledge to encourage Halfmoon
residents to participate and be involved in Town government. I will take every precaution to avoid
conflicts of interest and the appearance of impropriety and will work every day
to earn your Trust and confidence.
I respectfully ask you to join me and supporting me to be
the next Town Supervisor of the Town of Halfmoon. TOGETHER, we will move this
Town forward and make it an even better place to live, work, and raise our
families.
